Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026 · Draft, pending attorney review

Bayou Claims Group ("we," "us") is a records-research service focused on Harris County, Texas excess-proceeds cases. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

What we don't collect

We do not collect or store payment card information ourselves — payments, if any, are processed by a third-party payment processor, and card details never touch our systems. We do not request Social Security numbers as part of general case research; if a specific legal process requires one, that is handled separately and is never stored in our general records.

How we use information

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

How long we keep it

We retain case-related records only as long as reasonably needed to complete or close out a case, after which they are deleted on a regular schedule. You can request deletion of your information at any time by emailing info@bayou-claims.org.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted storage, two-factor authentication on our own accounts, and limited access to sensitive records — appropriate to the type of information involved.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, by emailing info@bayou-claims.org.
